About A Floor of Dogs
It started with a simple picture.
A Floor of Dogs is a dog boarding, private in-home dog training and mobile dog grooming business based in Kyalami, Johannesburg, South Africa. Established in 2011.
2011
From walking dogs to A Floor of Dogs.
Gareth started the business in 2011, walking dogs and working towards becoming a trainer. He always wanted the business to grow into a place that could include boarding and grooming too.
The picture in his head was simple: a home with a whole lot of happy dogs lying asleep across the floor. That picture became the name A Floor of Dogs.
Today
Personal, hands-on dog care.
Gareth remains the founder and trainer. The Kyalami property provides the base for boarding, while private training happens in owners' homes and Vule provides mobile grooming around the area.
The business has grown, but the approach remains personal: understand the individual dog, keep communication practical and provide the kind of care that fits real dogs and their owners.
